Solitaire support: Microsoft, Spider, FreeCell and more
“Solitaire isn’t working” can describe an app that will not open, a daily challenge that cannot download, or a card move the rules do not allow. First identify the publisher and variant. Microsoft Solitaire Collection, a Pogo Solitaire title and a browser version from another publisher are separate products.
Microsoft Solitaire Collection
- The app will not open or keeps closing — repair before considering a data-clearing reset.
- Daily Challenges will not load or show a download error — separate a connection problem from difficulty solving a deal.
- Progress or statistics appear to be missing — check account identity and service conditions before deleting local data.
Classic Solitaire variants
| Game family | Start here |
|---|---|
| Klondike / Classic Solitaire | Cards will not move or draw |
| Spider, including one-, two- and four-suit variants | Cannot deal a new row |
| FreeCell | A sequence or stack cannot move |
| Pyramid and TriPeaks | Check the exact publisher’s rules, then separate gameplay from loading |
| Golf, Crescent, Canfield and Forty Thieves | Confirm the variant and its rules through the publisher’s Solitaire instructions |
Pogo Solitaire games
For Snowbird Solitaire, Jet Set Solitaire or Solitaire Home Story on Pogo, use the Pogo support hub. Do not apply Microsoft app-reset instructions to a game played on Pogo.com.
Before reinstalling or clearing storage
Record the game name, account, device and exact problem. A game that opens and rejects one move may be enforcing its rules. A blank screen across several games points toward a different investigation. Clearing data can remove local information or sign you out.
Official support and independent help
Microsoft Casual Games official help and Arkadium Player Support handle their own games, account records and service decisions. Our number 1-833-457-4935 provides independent third-party assistance, not an official publisher helpline.
